DTF Pressing Instructions
Follow these steps for the best results when applying your Designs & Prints LLC DTF transfers.
Recommended Heat Press Settings

Temperature: 300°F–320°F

Press Time: 10–15 seconds

Pressure: Medium to firm

Peel: Allow the transfer to cool before peeling unless otherwise instructed
How to Apply Your DTF Transfer

Pre-Press the Garment
Press the garment for 3–5 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles. -
Position the Transfer
Place the DTF transfer on the garment with the printed design facing up. -
Press the Transfer
Press at 300°F–320°F for 10–15 seconds using medium to firm pressure. -
Peel the Film
Allow the transfer to cool, then carefully peel the film away from the garment. -
Final Press
Cover the design with parchment paper, butcher paper, or a finishing sheet and press again for 5–10 seconds. This helps improve durability and finish.

Always use a heat press for the most consistent results.

Make sure the garment is flat and free of seams, buttons, or zippers in the pressing area.

Pressing temperatures may vary depending on the fabric and heat press.

We recommend performing a test press when working with a new garment or material.

Avoid excessive heat or pressure, which may damage certain fabrics.
Aftercare
For longer-lasting prints:

Wait at least 24 hours before washing.

Wash inside out in cold water.

Use a mild detergent.

Do not use bleach.

Tumble dry on low or hang dry.

Avoid ironing directly over the printed design.
