6. Follow the Correct Peel Instructions

Some films are designed for a hot peel, while others require a warm or cool peel.

Do not automatically pull the film immediately after pressing unless your transfer instructions tell you to do so.

Peel the carrier film smoothly and consistently. If part of the design does not appear completely adhered, stop pulling and follow the recommended repressing procedure.

7. Don't Skip the Final Press

A final press can improve the finish and help ensure strong adhesion.

After removing the carrier film, cover the design with the recommended protective sheet and press it again according to your transfer instructions.

This can help create a smoother finish and improve the overall durability of the transfer.

8. Take Care of Your Finished Garment

Proper washing and drying can help your DTF design stay vibrant longer.

Allow the transfer to fully settle before the first wash. Follow any care instructions supplied with your transfer. In general, turning the garment inside out, washing with cool or cold water, and avoiding excessive heat can help protect the design.

Avoid ironing directly over the printed transfer.
